T.F.T. ‘That Friday Thing’ is our youth club which meets on Friday evenings in term time from 7 to 9pm. The club is open to young people in Years 7, 8 and 9 at school (aged 11- 14 years) We have a wide range of activities on offer: Table tennis, pool, console games, karaoke, football, hockey, crafts, table games, chill out room, drama and a tuck shop. During the evening we meet together for a short time to learn about the Christian faith and how it relates to young people. We also organise ‘special’ off-site activities during the year on Friday evenings and at weekends. Our residential weekend in the summer term is extremely popular. Youth House groups There are currently two youth house groups which meet on Monday evenings from 7.30 to 9pm These groups meet to learn more about the Christian faith, to pray, to read the bible and to have lots of fun together. The first house group meets at Jon and Rachel’s for young people in Years 7, 8 and 9 at school (aged 11 - 14 years) The second house group meets at Chris and Fiona’s for young people in Years 10, 11, 12 and 13 at school (aged 15 - 18 years) If you would like more information about our activities for young people, please contact Jon 01244 330100
