For Christians, Sunday is the time when we gather together as a community to Worship God and thank Him for guiding, protecting and providing for us and for sending his Son, Jesus Christ to save us and give us life in all its fullness.
We have two services on a Sunday:
Our main family service on a Sunday morning is at 10.30am. There are creche facilities and children's activities from pre-school up to sixteen. There are usually about a hundred people in the congregation and we are made up of a collection of ordinary people of all ages. Our services are not 'formal', but relaxed with a friendly atmosphere.
We always end our service on a Sunday morning with tea, coffee and occasionally cake! This gives us an opportunity to talk with each other.
There is another service on Sunday evening that starts at 6.30pm. This is usually a quieter, more traditional service with a smaller number generally attending.
FUEL 1625 8pm – 9.30pm
On a Sunday evening FUEL 1625 meet. This is a young people’s group for ages 16 to 25 and generally meets in our youth worker, Darren Gerrish’s home.
Community Cafe 9.00am (10am during school holidays) until 12 noon
A community Café runs in the Church hall. Come along for light refreshments and a chat. Filter coffee, tea and juice, toasted teacakes, cookies, scones and cake will all be available. If you've dropped the children off at school and would like a chance to draw breath before the week starts or if you'd like to drop in later for coffee and a chat, you'll be most welcome. Come and make use of the Café Book Swap - no need to bring a book, there are plenty to borrow. Or come and join the Art Group that meets alongside the Café. Beginners or expert painters all welcome.
